Jubel grew up in the small town of Denver City, TX, and after serving 6 years in the U.S. Air Force, he returned back to Texas where he graduated with a degree in nursing from Angelo State University. With 5 years under his belt working in critical care at Midland Memorial, Jubel applied to the inaugural physician assistant class at TTUHSC and later graduated with his Master of Physician Assistant Studies. 👆🏼
Jubel spent a few years in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery before diving into family practice. With a love for medicine and taking care of people, Jubel and his wife, Heather, opened Midland Family Medical Services in 2004 alongside Dr. Don McLarey. In 2021, Jubel and his crew became a part of Lubbock Primary Care & gained a new name — Midland Primary Care.
After work, you’ll likely find Jubel outdoors. He is an avid hunter, enjoys fishing and going to the beach, and loves hanging out with his family and supporting them in every way possible.
